From 60+ year old vines located in the Croix de Chèvre section of the Grand Cras in Morgon, this wine is a good example of why the wines from this appellation are the most compelling in Beaujolais. Rich and earthy with dark plum infused fruit, this wine also shows wonderful finesse along with its firm tannin structure. There is an enchanting mineral core here that tells us that there is much more going on than meets the eye and palate.
