This is very serious wine from an excellent vintage that shows an almost unctuous texture reflecting the ripeness of the vintage. Firm, ripe tannins are coated with thick viscosity and dark berry and brooding plum flavors. Voluptuous and drinkable now, this wine will benefit from 3-5 years of age. Excellent tension and spark make this an outstanding food-friendly wine.
