The intention of the Foot Tread Rosé is to rotate the vineyard source. In addition to being one of the most fun wines we make, it is an opportunity to experience such a playful expression in a variety of new and exciting flavors.
This years edition is 50% Cinsault and 50% Mourvedre.
Cinsault slid so naturally into our Foot Tread Rosé program it made me regret I hadn’t tried this before. Its playfulness synergized with the minerality and texture of Mourvèdre to create a seamless wine reminiscent of the flower gardens and beaches of southern France. It is completely comfortable in its own skin… like a wine that was always meant to be.
