Wingtine Chardonnay is named after the specialized wing tine shank used to cultivate Goldridge soil (sandy loam). By lifting and fracturing the soil vertically and horizontally, this specialized wing-shaped plow reduces tractor passes, while maintaining soil structure and integrating sustainable farming practices. A neighborly blend of organically grown fruit from the Heintz Ranch and biodynamically grown fruit from the Estate, the 2022 Wingtine was fermented and aged in a unique combination of concrete egg, neutral oak barrels, and a single neutral oak puncheon. Bottled following four months in stainless steel post barrel élevage, the 2022 vintage exhibits excellent tension and fruit expression with palpable minerality.

The 2022 Wingtine Chardonnay boasts inviting citrus aromas of fresh lemon and yuzu, embraced by a touch of tropical star fruit. The regal palate unfolds gracefully, revealing nuances of lime zest and apricot. A hint of wet stone lends an invigorating minerality that is further complemented by delicate jasmine floral undertones. Rounded and crisp, the mid-weight body paves the way for a luxuriously long, brioche-kissed finish that sparkles with vibrant acidity.
