These volcanic soils sit at 750 meters elevation (2460 ft) where up until recently, ripening grapes was not a given. Global warming has changed this equation, where Fiano can reach phenolic ripeness while still maintaining a unique high-wire acid/mineral balance.
This orange wine is macerated and fermented on its skins for 10-12 days resulting in a tense, tightly structured wine with minerals, mountain herbs and elegant complexity.
