|For years, the Chidaine family (Though raised in France, madame's parents are Spanish) has spent their short vacations of August in the south of Spain, settling on the area near Murcia called Bullas as their favorite spot. A spectacular site where the mountains reach down to the garrigue has intrigued them for years. In this area, Paco (Francois Chidaine) met Paco (a vineyard owner/philosopher) and Pepe (the man that tends this wonderful vineyard site) and a unique partnership was born.
This cool growing site (altitude 800-1000 meters) had plots of Tempranillo & Monastrell where the vines were over 40 years old. The rest, as they say, is history.|
