Esther Teixero Lemos is considered THE pioneer of organic viticulture in the Ribeira Sacra region of Galicia. For over 20 years, she and her sons have been farming their 5 hectare estate using only organic growing practices. This is especially important in a region of steep, terraced hillside vineyards where most of the weed-management is done with chemicals. The results are exquisite, where the wines show richness and excellent flavor definition.
