2005 is an extraordinary vintage for red wines in the Loire region. Pellé's Les Cris vineyard is the perfect location for growing Pinot Noir in this area. Chalky limestone with plenty of clay for richness are in perfect balance.

A nose of fresh cherries, some spice and a little flint lead into a superbly balanced wine that will stand up to many Pinot Noirs at twice the price. Full bodied and round with enticing, crisp acidity that finishes with a refreshing, minerality. Very long.
