Chambolle Musigny : 0.7 hectares from several parcels, primarily from Les Guéripes located on the Musigny hill, but exposed to the north. Hillside soils made up of gravel and chalk. Concentrated wines with black fruit notes and elegantly structured.
(from hillside fruit). Really pretty high-toned red pinot fruit with violet and rose petal hints that lead to round, rich, elegant and dusty middle weight flavors underpinned by firm tannins and a linear, precise and detailed finish that is notably persistent. If this can add a bit of complexity, it should merit the upper end of the range. (86-89)/2010+ (Burghound)
