Records in the family archives, which fill most of the walls of most of the rooms at Villa Le Corti, south of Florence in San Casciani in Val di Pesa, show that the family was already acquiring local vineyards and olive groves in the early 13th century. Principe Duccio Corsini now heads the enterprises of one of the most influential families in Florence throughout the renaissance and the centuries that followed.
All of the family vineyards and olive groves are now farmed organically with a complete dedication to traditional techniques. Our private label Extra Virgin Olive Oil is predominantly from the estate groves and complimented with oil pressed for neighbors in the historic mill located on the estate.
