Made with 100% Nebbiolo grown in a south-east facing vineyard in the village of Barbaresco. It is aged 12 months in a new large oak cask, not older that three years. The grapes used for the Barbaresco Ovello are harvested from the best exposed vineyard with the optimal soil composition. A further selection is then made within that vineyard by locating the portions with the ripest and healthiest grapes. The Barbaresco thus obtained is structured, spicy, and complex. It’s perfect with red and white meat and excellent with well matured cheese. The annual production is 4.000 bottles.
