Planted in 1937, the vines for this cuvée grow in L’Homme Mort (Dead Man) parcel of the 1er Cru Fourchaume vineyard. These are the oldest vines in the estate which are vinified separately when the vintage is worthy. 67% aged in stainless steel, 33% aged in neutral barrels.
Super fresh texture showing minerals, citrus, high-tension and massive complexity. This is a brilliant expression of the potential when all things come together in Chablis showing some exotic notes combined with great length, crisp acidity and an overall mind-bending level of concentration. Such power with such finesse.
