Grown on the upper slopes between 300 and 550 meters altitude, this varietal produces a yellow/straw colored wine with notes of ripe apples, hazelnuts and good acidity on the palate. The soil types in these vineyards include sandstone, loam, limestone and dolomite. This wine pairs well with fish and light meats, shellfish and soft cheeses.
