Single .25 hectare parcel at 390-450 meters elevation. Clay over volcanic bedrock soils. Densely planted vines.
This wine is a little richer and chunkier than the other offerings due to the higher clay content of the soils. Dark thick purple/red fruit with some herbal aromatics lead into a somewhat rustic full-bodied wine. Tannins are well-coated, but some bottle age is recommended.
