This wine takes its name from the estate’s oldest Godello vineyard, planted in 1920 at 680 meters elevation. The vines are head-pruned and produce minuscule quantities of highly concentrated fruit which is stemmed, crushed and fermented and macerated on its skins in open vats for up to three weeks, resulting in a wonderfully complex, highly mineral wine with a texture that leans towards orange wines. Very high-toned with more elegance than one would expect.
